    The ARMA Metro NYC Chapter has volunteer opportunities under all committees. Feel free to contact any committee chair you would like to work with. We are always happy to hear from you!

    Accreditation Liaison Committee
    Chaired by the Executive Vice President - executivevp@armanyc.org
    Volunteers provide guidance, input and/or mentorship to members seeking, for example, the IGP or CRM.

    Audit Committee
    Chaired by the Executive Vice President - vpmembership@armanyc.org
    Volunteers assist with the annual audit, conducted to ensure that the funds received from various ARMA Metro NYC Chapter membership fees, fundraisers, contributions are accurately accounted for.

    Finance Committee
    Chaired by the Vice President, Treasurer - treasurer@armanyc.org
    Volunteers assist with establishing the chapter’s budget for the upcoming fiscal year.

    Government Affairs Committee
    Chaired by the Executive Vice President - executivevp@armanyc.org
    Volunteers assist with educating the board and chapter on legislation and regulations relating to the privacy, security and management of information. 

    Membership and Hospitality Committee
    Chaired by the Vice President, Membership - vpmembership@armanyc.org
    Volunteers contact members regarding chapter business and serve as the greeting committee for new members at the registration desk for chapter events. Distribute name badges and monitor attendance. Contact and encourage members to renew their ARMA membership. Assist with updating the ARMA Metro NYC Chapter membership database.

    Newsletter Committee
    Chaired by the Vice President, Newsletter - vpnewsletter@armanyc.org
    Volunteers assist with soliciting, organizing and presenting educational material in our newsletter.

    Nominating/Elections Committee
    Chaired by the Immediate Past President - immediatepastpresident@armanyc.org
    Volunteers on this committee shall prepare a slate of nominees for each elective office in accordance with our Bylaws.

    Professional Development Committee
    Chaired by the Vice President, Professional Development - vpprofessionaldevelopment@armanyc.org
    Volunteers assist with identifying educational opportunities and speakers with the goal of providing valuable and engaging content at chapter meetings and/or training to members and guests.

    Special Events Committee
    Chaired by the Vice President, Events and Special Projects - vpspecialevents@armanyc.org
    Volunteers assist with identifying venues, selecting the menu and catering. They also assist with tracking RSVPs and monitoring attendance as it relates to venue logistics.

    Sponsorship Committee
    Chaired by the Vice President, Advertising and Promotion - vpsponsorship@armanyc.org
    Volunteers assist with raising funds for chapter events and seek out possible sponsorship.

    Technology Committee
    Chaired by the Vice President, Information Technology - vpit@armanyc.org
    Volunteers assist with maintaining and updating webpages as needed.
