    This meeting will feature three seasoned professionals with large corporate, legal, vendor and consulting experience who will share their views and experience, along with what they see as the current hot issues. Discussion topics will include the offerings and capabilities most needed today, who is are competition, with whom and how do we engage for future success. Attend to ask for advice, or share your own, about navigating any kind of organization and hear their thoughts on where they see the biggest gaps and opportunities for IG/RIM professionals in the future. 

    Meet our panelists:


    Jennifer Best, J.D., CRM, IGP Corporate Vice President at New York Life Insurance Company, where she has worked for over eighteen years. She began her career as a litigation attorney, which ultimately led to a career in compliance and records management. Jennifer is on the ARMA Metro NYC Chapter’s Board of Directors focusing on marketing and social media for the Chapter.  Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers Law School.

    Richard Medina is a co-founder of Doculabs, and one of Doculabs’ experts in content and process management. He works with organizations in a wide range of industries, including financial services, insurance, energy, and utilities. His current focus is on information management and information governance in digitally transformed organizations – those organizations with heavily cloud-based, automated, and document-free business processes.

    David Prather IGP, CIP is an information management expert with over 20 years of relevant business analysis, project management, process management, and change management experience. He has successfully led dozens of enterprise content management, document management, records management, and taxonomy projects and programs. David is a certified project manager (PMI CAPM) and a certified expert in business process modeling (OCEB 2). He holds an MBA in Finance and an MS in Accounting from American University, and a BA from Ohio State (Go Bucks!). He is currently Vice President of Business Development at Ovitas; previous employers include Moody’s, Deloitte, ADP, and the International Accounting Standards Board in London.
