    Mary Sherwin, FAI, CIPP/US, CRM, IGP, Director, Records Management, ViacomCBS, CBS Corporate Law Department. 

    Mary is a senior information management executive and privacy professional with over thirty years of experience. She is a leader in records and information management strategies, and has extensive experience in records and information management, information technology and information privacy. Mary’s experience extends into all phases of the systems development lifecycle, including project management, analysis, development and implementation on a wide variety of technical platforms.

     

    David Smythe is the Principal for Financial Services in Information Governance and Digital Solutions (IGDS) at Iron Mountain.

    He has over 20 years of financial industry experience having developed global information governance programs, eDiscovery, data protection and banking support functions for three large multinational enterprises.  Prior positions involved strategic planning, program development and operations normalization within IT, Compliance and Business lines. Related efforts included structured data retention, defensible disposition, data mapping, workflow automation and application decommissioning. These work efforts have yielded enhanced control and process efficiencies along with substantial cost reduction.
