What is Just Tell?
Just Tell’s mission is to reach out to youth who are being sexually abused in order to tell them that they are not alone, they are not to blame and should feel no blame or shame, and that they need to choose a trustworthy adult and tell them about the abuse.
Just Tell’s Vision
Just Tell visualizes a world in which children who are molested immediately turn to a trusted adult figure in their lives and tell them of the abuse. That trusted adult has information to help the child though the next steps so that the abuse is stopped and the abuser is prevented from harming other children.
Just Tell’s Program
The Website: JustTell.org
The website contains pages written especially for sexually abused children and includes true stories of adults and teens who were sexually abused. These stories and excerpts give kids other people’s stories to identify with. The website also includes pages for adults. These pages are designed to equip adults to be helpful when a child reveals their abuse to them.
To Help Out
Just Tell plans to have volunteer youth Street Teams all across the United States who will be passing out stickers and wallet cards at concerts, schools and other young people’s gathering places. These cards and stickers will direct kids to visit our website, JustTell.org, where they learn how to stop their sexual abuse.
They can’t do this without our help. You can make donations through PayPal or by check, made payable to “Just Tell” and send to:
