    The New Year is well underway, and the ARMA Metro NYC Board would like to share with you the exciting educational events we have planned:

    Mark your brand new 2018 Calendars!

    • Thursday February 15th, 5:30 pm – 8 pm: “Records Retention Schedules and their impact on your IG Program” – presented by Mark Diamond, Contoural, to be held at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, 601 Lexington Ave @ 53rd Street
    • Register Early!! Tuesday March 6th 7:30 am-5 pm The Early Bird Rates have been extended through February 15th  Only! -   http://armanyc.org/2018_Spring_Conference - Our premier event -  our signature Annual Conference, held in collaboration with our sister chapters from New Jersey, Connecticut and Long Island
      • Leading speakers will provide valuable, usable insights on information governance, privacy and security, technology and RIM 101.  
      • New This Year: We are adding a 5th track – complete with CLE accreditation - welcome to the Sedona conference as they have prepared this track for those interested in hearing from highly accomplished legal speakers, among whom are 4 former and current judges
      • Location: Executive Conference Center, 1601 Broadway @W. 48th Street, in the heart of Times Square
      • Conclude the day socializing at the wonderful networking reception, starting at 5 pm, sponsored by Iron Mountain

    • Tuesday March 20th- 9 am to 5 pm- Certified Records Manager/Certified Records Analyst Exam Preparation Workshop (Parts 1-5) – for those of you preparing to take the CRM or CRA exam, this workshop will cover the essentials, to be held at King & Spalding, 1185 Ave. of the Americas, btw. W. 46th and W. 47th St.

    • Melissa Dederer led a CRM/CRA Information Session on January 18th, which demonstrated the high level of interest in our chapter for pursuing these Certifications.
    • Our January Networking Social on January 24th was right up our alley.  Members and guests, old and new, got to better know one another, while noshing and bowling a few frames!

    Volunteer! Now is the Perfect Time
