The Chapter Member of the Year award, commonly referred to as CMOTY, is sponsored by ARMA International and is presented by each chapter to its most outstanding member for the previous year.

Honored Member of the Year Award
The Honored Member of the Year award was established to recognize those members who have distinguished themselves through outstanding service within the chapter and the association, and through noteworthy achievements in records and information management.
Our 2009 - 2010 Honored Member of the Year is: Deborah Montana
New Chapter Member of the Year Award
The New Chapter Member of the Year was established in 1995 to recognize outstanding service to the chapter by a member in good standing for not more than 24 months.

CHAPTER WEBSITE OF THE YEAR
At the ARMA International Conference in Orlando, I had the opportunity to attend the Awards Luncheon on Tuesday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised when the Metropolitan New York City Chapter was announced as the winner of the CHAPTER WEBSITE OF THE YEAR in 
the Very Large Chapter Category! It has been more than 30 years since we have won a Chapter award, and I was thrilled to have been able to accept the award on behalf of our wonderful chapter. I had the honor of presenting the award to our Webmaster, Marcel Rodriguez at the October Chapter Meeting. Congratulations!! (And, yes, we have already submitted our letter of intent for next year!)
